Supervisor: Janet Morris, LPC-S, RPT

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern as well as a Professional School Counselor. I have a background in education as well as psychology and work primarily with children, adolescents and their parents. In my work with children and adolescents, I address issues such as self–esteem, relationships, problems at school, learning differences, depression, anxiety, and issues associated with divorce, grief, and loss. I also work with young adults as they transition from college to adulthood on identity development, differentiation from family, career aspirations, and other stressors that occur during this difficult life adjustment.

My Mission: Bringing hope, healing, and wellness by empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives.

My Background: Masters of Education in School Counseling from Houston Baptist University, Bachelor of Arts in History with an English Minor from Texas A&M University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor  Intern.

My Experience: My career in education spans over 13 years with 10 of those years working as a high school English teacher. I’ve been working as a Professional School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Intern for the last 3 years working primarily with adolescents.

My Technique: I use a variety of techniques determined by your primary issues, striving to use research based protocols. I work with all ages.

About Me: I am a native Houstonian who loves helping people from all walks of life. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and reading whenever possible. I love going to church and travelling the world on mission trips as well.
