My Mission
My mission is to create meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients by
providing a safe space where they can be heard, understood, and assured in their therapy goals.
My goal is to make a change in the people I serve, empowering and motivating change in their
lives while connecting with clients personally yet professionally, all while maintaining a
non-judgmental space for them to be themselves. I hope to gauge clients on their strengths,
therapeutic goals, and support them on their journey in both counseling and in life.

My Focus
My focus is to work with young adults, adults, and Asian-American clients. I wish to
empower and motivate clients to improve their quality of life, help develop emotional regulation
and coping skills, and help them navigate through difficult challenges and obstacles through
person-centered modalities and techniques. My focus is to work with clients and to create a
non-judgmental space for them to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and to create
insight and connections to their way of life.

My Experience
I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in
Psychology in May of 2022, with a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I’m
working on obtaining my M.Ed. in Counseling to become an LPC, with experience working with
adults with substance use disorders and nicotine dependency. Moreover, I was a trained RBT,
working with adolescents with Autism spectrum disorder. I am in my practicum and internship
program at the University of Houston M.Ed. in Counseling, under the university supervision of
Nathaniel Smith, PhD, LPC-S, and primary on-site supervisor Brent Dyer, LPC, NCC and Dr. Roxy Riefkohl, PHD, LPC-S.

About Me
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I enjoy playing all sorts of video games, watching
anime, making custom keyboards, and frogs. Fun facts about me include: I’ve been hit by almost
every single ball in every sport, I never lose in a staring contest, and I love drinking coffee (or
anything that has caffeine).
