Ethan Everts
LPC Associate

I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to walk alongside you as you better understand yourself, identify what matters most, and create meaningful change in your daily life. Therapy requires honesty, accountability, and a willingness to be an active part of the process. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, supported, and empowered to move forward.
I am especially passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and student-athletes as they navigate identity, relationships, academics, athletics, expectations, and the challenges that come with growing and changing. As a former Division I student athlete, I understand firsthand the unique pressures of balancing athletics, academics, relationships, expectations, and personal well-being.
Some of the most meaningful moments in therapy happen when something finally clicks and you feel truly understood. That is the kind of connection I strive to build with every client.
I draw from CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Choice Theory, and Humanistic approaches, while recognizing that real life rarely fits neatly into one theory. I focus on helping clients develop practical coping skills, better understand their emotions, build confidence, and work toward meaningful change. While I will always be in your corner, lasting change ultimately comes from your willingness to take ownership of the process.
I’m a native Houstonian, proud dog dad, and soccer fan. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Houston Baptist University. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me watching sports, walking my dog, or spending time with family.
