Craig Ordoyne

I became a counselor because I believe no one should have to face life’s hardest struggles alone. Whether it’s trauma that lingers, the weight of depression, or anxiety that never seems to let up, my passion is helping people find hope, healing, and strength they didn’t know they had. I work with teens, young adults, and adults, creating a safe and supportive space where you can be honest about your struggles and start building real change.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapy for trauma, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. No two stories are alike, so I tailor my approach to fit your needs—sometimes that means processing old wounds, other times it’s learning new skills and strategies to handle the challenges right in front of you. My goal is always the same: to help you develop the tools you need to live with greater peace, resilience, and purpose.
Before moving into private practice, I gained experience working in both clinical and school settings, counseling children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. Those experiences shaped the way I approach therapy: as a collaborative process where trust, empathy, and partnership matter most. I don’t see myself as the expert on your life—you are. My role is to walk alongside you, guide you, and help you uncover what’s already inside you.
I was born and raised in South Louisiana and moved to Katy, Texas in 2019 to begin a new chapter of my life. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nicholls State University. Outside of work, I value time with family and friends and believe strongly in continuing to grow and learn—both personally and professionally.
My areas of specialty include adolescents, young adults, men’s issues, family challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and EMDR therapy. Wherever you are in your story, I’d be honored to help you write the next chapter with strength and hope.
