Real, lasting change isn’t easy. For many of us, it can feel just out of reach as we wrestle with the confusion and difficulties of life. My goal as a counselor is to walk with you in that space, creating a safe and effective environment where you can grow, heal, and thrive.

In my work, I draw from ancient wisdom, modern science, and proven evidence-based practices to help clients find balance and resilience. I believe true vitality comes from more than just “fixing problems.” It’s about the unique interplay of thoughts and emotions, the health of our relationships, a secure sense of identity, and the ability to handle the challenges of daily life at work, school, and home.

I have experience providing both individual and group therapy, working with men and women from many different backgrounds and life stages. I work with individuals and couples in crisis, as well as those who aren’t in crisis but who feel there’s more to life than what they’re currently experiencing. Together, we focus on finding ways to not just survive, but to truly thrive—personally, relationally, and spiritually.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University. I live in West Houston with my wife, Brooke, and our dog, Archie. When I’m not counseling, you’ll often find me enjoying time with my family, reading, or reflecting on the kind of wisdom captured by Annie Dillard: “If you want to look at the stars, you will find that darkness is necessary. But the stars neither require nor demand it.”
