Mission:
To work with each individual in order to foster growth and awareness. I strive to make sure my clients know their unique strengths in order to overcome obstacles and achieve change.
Focus:
I serve individuals (13+), couples and groups who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues and relational problems.
Experience:
I have worked with a variety of clients, including teens, adults, and couples. I have also co-led a group for teens who are struggling with addictions.
Technique:
Ultimately, I believe that the client and therapist relationship matters most, so I strive to tailor to the specific needs of the client. I use research based techniques such as Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt and Solution-Focused Therapy.
About Me:
I grew up in College Station and graduated with my BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Aggieland holds a very special place in my heart! I received my degree in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my husband and family, reading, and spending time outdoors.
“So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
