Counseling is a joy and calling in my life. To partner with those longing to find a healthier, more fulfilling and purposeful path in life is a true privilege.  I believe there are answers to life’s journey, and with time, dedication, and purpose, our story can be one of great victory, peace, and joy.

Mission: To serve the community as a guide to healing, hope and higher ground by listening, engaging, encouraging, and leading with respect and compassion in a safe and trustworthy environment.

Focus: To guide individuals, couples, and families to healthy relationships and lifestyles by exploring all walks and aspects of life with them, both short and long-term.

Technique:  My counseling philosophy and style is based on building a relationship of mutual trust, meeting a person where they are in their story, and joining in as a guide with a holistic approach (mind/body/soul) of eclectic therapeutic avenues uniquely suited to the person to achieve their goals and desires.

Experience:  For over 10 years, I’ve been privileged to serve many ethnicities, religious backgrounds, and age groups in various counseling settings.  Areas of counsel include stress, grief, depression, anxiety, emotional dysfunction, crisis pregnancy, pre-engagement, pre-marital and marriage, faith and spirituality, relationship topics, and a broad scope of life’s issues.

Education/Licenses:  Pursuing Licensure at Dallas Theological Seminary as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas

Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling (MABC) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

About Me: Being outdoors is where I thrive, enjoying great music, food and fellowship with my husband, family, and friends.  I love digging in the flower bed, growing roses, the challenge of practicing self-taught piano and the intrigue of true crime shows and pre-19th century period films.  More than anything else, my well-being comes from fellowship with my Creator and Savior through worship in body mind and soul.

He heard my cry and lifted me out of the miry pit and

put my feet upon a rock with firm standing and

put a new song in my mouth of praise! Psalm 40
