Balance doesn’t mean giving everything 100%. It means deciding what actually matters right now and letting the rest wait. Some days, your family needs more. Other days, your career does. And sometimes what you really need is a nap and some tacos.

  1. Define “enough.” What does “a good day’s work” look like? If you don’t know, you’ll never stop.

  2. Schedule your life, not just your job. If your calendar only has work meetings, of course you’ll feel lopsided. Block out dinner, workouts, and downtime.

  3. Protect your energy. Notice what drains you vs. what restores you, and cut accordingly.

  4. Accept the trade-offs. Every “yes” has a hidden “no.” Pick the ones you can live with.
